Eva Longoria and Her Fiancé Already Call Each Other Husband and Wife
They may have only just gotten engaged, but Eva Longoria and her fiancé José "Pepe" Bastón are serious about settling down. Longoria gushed to Us Weekly that the two already call each other husband and wife and have been doing so even before the engagement. "The word fiancé feels like I got demoted," Longoria said. "We feel married." Well, when you know, you know!
Longoria and Bastón met in 2013 through a mutual friend and have been inseparable ever since. After getting engaged while on vacation in Dubai this past December, Longoria told People, "I want to yell from the highest mountaintop about everything that goes on with us because I'm so happy and excited to be with a person as kind as Pepe is." That is some serious #relationshipgoals right there. Bastón, the president of Latin media brand Grupo Televisa, was previously married and has three children with his ex-wife.
Even if the wedding planning isn't quite in the works yet, Longoria is keeping things in perspective. "What makes my relationship with Pepe so much sweeter is that I don't put pressure on myself or the idea of marriage as much as I did when I was younger," says the Telenovela star. "Once you realize a wedding isn't a marriage, then you can learn to appreciate it more." #Preach.
