It sounds like an honest mistake to us.

Lori Loughlin and husband Mossimo Giannulli have a lot to celebrate. They've been married for two decades and share two children together. But there's one small problem with how the spouses have been commemorating their 20-year-long union: They've been marking their wedding anniversary on the wrong day for their entire marriage!

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Loughlin admitted the mix-up. "I was having dinner with Candace Cameron Bure and Marilu Henner, and you know, Marilu has that incredible memory," Loughlin recalled. "Somehow, we started talking about my elopement. It happened to be Thanksgiving morning the year that we eloped," she explained. "And so Marilu happened to say, 'Oh, what's your wedding date?' And I said, 'It's November 25, 1997,' and she goes, 'No, no, November 25 was a Tuesday. Nov 27, 1997, that was Thanksgiving.' I was like, 'What?!'"

As it turns out, November 25 is written on Loughlin's marriage certificate, so that's the day that the couple remembered. "That's what it says on my marriage license. I think that they went by the day that the license was filed," Loughlin explained, pointing out the origin of the misunderstanding. Despite celebrating their anniversary early, though, the couple's relationship has been pretty smooth. "He's my guy, he's my person," Loughlin shared of Giannulli, before revealing what makes their romance work. "It's communicating, it's listening, it's picking and choosing your battles, it's being flexible, it's all of that. It's one day at a time, one step at a time," she said.

Loughlin also dished a bit more on the specifics of her elopement. "We had Moss' best friend and a minister meet us, we got married at sunrise, and then we went to Thanksgiving dinner and we told everybody."
