Allison Williams and Ricky Van Veen Celebrate Their First Wedding Anniversary
Happy anniversary to the Van Veens! A year ago today on September 19, 2015, actress Allison Williams and CollegeHumor co-founder Ricky Van Veen were married at Brush Creek Ranch in Saratoga, Wyoming. And Williams is celebrating in classic celebrity style-on Instagram!
Williams and Van Veen dated for three years before becoming engaged in February 2014. The two married in front of 150-200 guests, which included Williams' co-stars Lena Dunham, Jemima Kirke, and Zosia Mamet, and other friends such as Katy Perry, Mindy Kaling, Seth Meyers, and many more.
The couple then honeymooned in Italy, stopping in Naples and the Amalfi Coast.
Throughout the week leading up to their first anniversary, Williams shared multiple throwback Instas of her big day. About a week ago, both Williams and her stylist Cristina Ehrlich shared images of the bride's final fittings in her stunning handmade couture Oscar de la Renta gown.
Williams also shared a close-up image of the gorgeous gown, which also doubled as her something blue. She wrote, "Just cause it's almost been a year…a close-up of the incredible embroidery @oscardelarenta did in a few places on my wedding gown. I boosted the color here so you can see it, but it was so subtle and made the lace look so magical #SomethingBlue".
Then, Williams shared an image of her rehearsal dinner look, an Americana ensemble to go along with the ranch wedding!
She captioned: "K I'll stop really soon, but since it's almost our anniversary I'm going through our photos again. These are from one year ago today, before our rehearsal dinner. Take me baaaaack there."
Girl, don't stop! We hope she'll keep posting adorable throwbacks throughout the day.
