Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom Are Considering a Destination Wedding
The star-studded affair's guest list might also include one unexpected attendee.
For Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, a faraway big day might be in order. While the exact location of the singer's nuptials to Bloom is under wraps, MSN reports that the couple is "thinking of [planning] a destination wedding." As they nail down this detail, they're also focusing on one other big-picture priority. Despite the fact that both Bloom and Perry say they're not rushing down the aisle anytime soon, their guest list is reportedly already taking shape.
As for who made the cut? In a spirit of unity, Katy Perry is using her destination affair to solidify her reconciled friendship with Taylor Swift. Following a famous feud, Katy Perry and Taylor Swift publicly buried the hatchet in the music video for Swift's new song "You Need To Calm Down." But the singers' renewed friendship isn't just for the cameras—the duo is on such good terms that Swift reportedly snagged (or will snag, once Perry and Bloom decide on a big-day locale!) an invitation to the her new friend's wedding.
That's not all: Apparently Swift will also get to bring a plus-one. According to Cosmopolitan, "Katy and Taylor haven't just made up, they are now very close friends. Katy genuinely hopes Taylor and her boyfriend Joe Alwyn make the wedding. It's a clear sign of just how much they have moved on."
Perry also recently shared a bit more insight into her relationship with Orlando Bloom. During a recent radio interview with Heart FM, she shared that she "[has] a type," one that her future husband plays right into. "I like English gentlemen. I like that they sound really eloquent, and there's more history in the U.K. than there is America," she elaborated. "They sound like they've got tradition, actually, they have more tradition, and I like that. There's tea time! We don't really have many traditions in America."
