Breaking up is easy to do -- at least when it comes to yummy hard candy such as peanut brittle, pecan toffee, and cayenne pumpkin-seed croquant (croquant is French for "crunchy"). Your guests can get a bang out of them at a self-service dessert station.

For a striking display, place sheets of brittle on butcher block for guests to break up themselves.
