Allison Williams and Ricky Van Veen Used Store-Bought Funfetti Mix for Their Wedding Cake
And they're still eating it.
Allison Williams loves to reminisce about her wedding to Ricky Van Veen! This is the second year in a row that the star used her anniversary to post throwbacks from her big day. This time, she reflected on her wedding cake, and what she shared is surprising.
"Turns out, if your wedding cake is made with ingredients from a box per your demands (store-bought funfetti and frosting), it's still delicious even two years later-after you forget to eat it on your first anniversary," she wrote on Instagram. Yep, the actress chose a low-maintenance dessert to serve to her wedding guests. The best part is, the cake was still gorgeous, and definitely delicious. Her 'gram also referenced a common tradition-saving the top tier of your wedding cake.
Last year, Williams shared photos of her wedding dress to celebrate her anniversary. The Oscar de la Renta gown had long sleeves and subtle, colorful embroidery. She also posted an image of her outfit for her rehearsal dinner-a patriotic and country-chic ensemble. "Since it's almost our anniversary I'm going through our photos again," she explained, adding "Take me baaaaack there."
Williams and her hubby got engaged in 2014 after dating for three years. They married in 2015 in Wyoming, and honeymooned in Italy. Van Veen is the co-founder of CollegeHumor, and Williams is known for her role in Girls. The celebrity considers her marriage "the best decision of my life," and calls herself "the luckiest."
