Adding a few pet-centric adds to your prenuptial gift list is absolutely fair game.

If you and your significant other own a pet, we'd like to gently remind you that you can absolutely register for products specifically for your four-legged family member—and you can do it without feeling even an ounce of shame. Case in point: If you can request sky diving lessons without anyone balking, it's also acceptable to request a new pet bed or a pretty leash.
Not only is your wedding registry the perfect opportunity to upgrade all of the pet accessories you've been meaning to replace, but there are also a slew of innovative and beautifully designed products you probably didn't even know you wanted or needed. Do you want your cat to stay entertained but don't want to constantly be the one pointing that laser around the room? Register for an automated laser pointer (don't worry, it's safe). If your dog suffers from anxiety (it's far more common than you'd think), get them a weighted jacket to help quell their fear of thunder or being left alone. For your indoor cat, register for one of many litter boxes that are far superior to the old school version in terms of both better odor control and innocuous design.
Don't forget that upgrading your pet's accessories also frequently means you're upgrading your home's décor, too. After all, much of what your pets use every single day stays out in the open and not shoved in a closet, and isn't it better to look at beautiful, well-crafted beds and bowls? If you two are design buffs, consider registering for a mid-century modern-style pet bed. Tired of those old, mismatched food and water bowls? There are so many chic options for you to register for, from the prettiest painted ceramics to sleek and contemporary modular bowls.
Click through for some of our favorite pet accessories to register for and upgrade your furry friends (and your home!) accordingly.
