Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian's pre-wedding celebrations are officially underway. According to Us Weekly, Williams just celebrated with a bachelorette weekend in New York City.

A fan spotted the the tennis champion and her crew, including sister Venus, Ciara, and LaLa Anthony, lodging at the Baccarat Hotel. The group allegedly kicked off the festivities in a party bus that chauffeured them to TAO Group's newest seafood restaurant, Legasea. But the real party started later in the evening. "They partied 'til the wee hours at PH-D Rooftop in the Meatpacking District before returning back to the hotel," said the insider. The following day was spent back at the hotel, where the group focused on rest and relaxation. "The ladies were pampered with treatments at the Spa de La Mer at Baccarat Hotel," they added.

Williams has been engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanaian for nearly a year. The couple welcomed their daughter, Olympia, in September, and have been focused on adjusting to life as a family of three. Since becoming parents, there's been no word on the couple's wedding plans, but a bachelorette party could indicate that we're closer to the big day than we thought. Back in July, Williams said that her nuptials wouldn't happen until she celebrated with her best girlfriends. "No, we are still waiting. There was a bridal shower, and after the bridal comes the bachelorette [party]," she told E! News.

Now that the athlete's bachelorette weekend has come and gone, it's possible that the next news we hear from the couple will be a marriage announcement. As in love as Williams and Ohanian are, we don't envision them waiting too much longer. "She has the biggest heart. Everyone sees her success as an athlete, but all of that is layered on the size of her heart. She gives 100% of herself to everything she does: as a friend, as a lover, and soon, as a mother," Ohanian told Humans of New York in May.
