Go ahead and downsize your handbag for your reception. With these favorite products, everything you need to look your best can fit right into your tiny accessory.
Your wedding day—however short it actually feels in real-time—is actually quite long and filled with many events, from the getting-ready session in the bridal suite to family portraits, the ceremony, the reception, and (finally!) the after-party. With a packed schedule, it's often difficult to find a moment to catch your breath—and check your makeup. That's why it's a great idea to stock your bridal clutch with small essentials that you can quickly use for touchups throughout the day.
You don't want to have to spend much time fixing or refreshing your makeup, but having a little tool kit prepared for the day of will help you out in a pinch (this is even more important if your makeup artist won't be staying all day long). Lipstick is probably one of the most important wedding clutch essentials, especially if your lip color of choice is something bold or bright, like red or plum. With the kissing, Champagne drinking, and cake eating, having a lipstick on hand for a quick reapplication is important. But, then again, so is a mirror—you don't want to have to run to a bathroom to swipe on another layer, or to check the status of the rest of your makeup and hair—so keeping a compact with a small mirror in your clutch is a great idea, too. (Bonus points if it's a compact with blush or pressed powder—that's even more space you'll save in your clutch.) Blotting papers and setting spray are some of our other essentials, since they will refresh your complexion without disturbing your made-up face.
Looking for more beauty must-haves to keep by your side throughout the entire celebration? Here, we've rounded up a variety of great mini-sized beauty products that will fit right into your wedding-day clutch.
