Kirsten Dunst Was a Bridesmaid in Her Best Friend's Wedding
The actress and the bride have known each other since childhood.
Kirsten Dunst just walked down the aisle, but it wasn't for her own wedding to actor Jesse Plemons. The actress was spotted in Rome, Italy, this Saturday where she served as a bridesmaid for her best friend, Cindy McGee, Entertainment Tonight reports.
Photos from the outlet show Dunst dressed up in a peachy-pink gown with spaghetti straps. The star carried a small bouquet made of white and pink flowers and accessorized with earrings. Naturally, her engagement ring from Plemons was on full display.
The event was certainly meaningful for the actress, as she's very close to McGee. This month, she told Elle that she's known the bride since her childhood, and that McGee used to drive her to class. "I had such a good girlfriend growing up that we didn't need anything," Dunst shared in the interview. "We had such a creative world of our own imagination together. For me, if I have a child, I would say, 'I hope you find a best friend that makes it so you don't really need much but each other,'" she added.
Dunst is currently prepping to get married herself. According to the actress, her wedding to Plemons will be small. "I'm someone who wants to keep it very intimate," she shared recently. The couple's engagement went public at the start of this year. The two have some experience being spouses already-they play a married couple on the show Fargo.
