Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin Are Now Planning a Destination Wedding
The couple just completely changed their original plan.
Although Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber have been legally married since September, the couple reportedly started planning a second religious ceremony last year, one that would allow the couple to celebrate their union with their extended family and friends. People reported earlier this month that the duo was in "no real rush" to tie the knot a second time. This makes sense, considering the fact that the pair has now officially postponed their second wedding date three times. As for the reason for the most recent push-back? According to a new People source, Baldwin and Bieber allegedly now want a destination wedding.
Baldwin and Bieber are no longer planning a hometown event, says an insider close to the couple. Instead, they have their sights set on a tropical location for their celebration: "Justin and Hailey both love tropical destinations. They are currently looking into options for a tropical wedding." The date has also changed, reports TMZ. The couple was originally eyeing a March wedding date to coincide with Bieber's birthday, but "it seems it will happen in April or May instead," added the source.
The reason for the delay? The duo wants to ensure everyone they care about most will be there when their big day does arrive. "They're working with the schedules of all their friends and family to make sure they can be surrounded by the people they love," a source told People. "There's no real rush. They're already legally married, but they're very excited about throwing a celebration with their loved ones." Whenever a definitive date it set, it's sure to be a big, star-studded celebration. "They're going to have a big blowout, in front of God and everyone they love," another insider explained.
While the two clearly aren't in any rush to finalize their wedding date or venue, the bride-to-be is still excited about the upcoming nuptials and has already started working with a small team of vendors. "Although they are already married, they both want their wedding to be perfect," the insider adds. "Hailey is working closely with their planner and figuring everything out. She is very excited to plan her wedding."
