We've always been fans of the idea of using natural beauty products—for our hair and otherwise. But historically, it's been a difficult task to find natural hair products that leave our strands feeling clean and shiny. Luckily, the times have changed, and now there are tons of brands that do just that. Many products on the market are sulfate-, phthalate-, and paraben-free (read: formulated without all those less-than-ideal ingredients). They're also designed to help achieve whatever you're after, from volume and moisture to color protection and restoration. As if that weren't enough, they come in super chic bottles, too!
Shampoo is the first step to beautiful, strong hair. That's why we've compiled a list of our favorite natural options. For dyed strands, we've got something color-safe, and for fine strands, you'll find a great volumizer. If your locks need some nourishment or a dose of hydration, we've got shampoos for both, too. For brides-to-be seeking a clarifying formula, there's an option on this list for that. And for fiancées who just want something standard, we've found a great shampoo that works for all hair types. We told you that the nautral beauty market has been seriously diversified!
Click through to find the product that works best for your unique head of hair. Welcome to the new world of natural shampoos, designed with every customer in mind. You'll look forward to using these in the shower—we know we do—and especially on the morning of your big day.

Rahua
For anyone with color-treated hair, this will help keep your shade vibrant. It lathers beautifully—especially for something without sulfates in it—and doesn't weigh down even fine locks. "It cleans my hair without completely stripping it of natural oils, and put a natural wave back in my hair," our tester says.

Christophe Robin
The smell of this product alone made us want to try it, and the volume-boosting texture it creates makes us want to keep using it. Even better, you don't need to follow up your wash with a styling product—this shampoo gave us natural body that lasted from morning until night.

Avalon Organics
If you have dry hair, try this shampoo, which restores hydration thanks to its formula with lavender essential oil, aloe, babassu oil, and Vitamin E. It's also great to use if you're trying to wash your hair less, we've noticed, as it helps your hair get back to its equilibrium.

Briogeo
When you feel like you just need to press the reset button on your hair (maybe from too much product or beach time), this shampoo will clean and clarify strands without drying you out. We love that it contains green tea; it's a powerful antioxidant that protects from aging free-radical damage and UV rays.

True Botanicals
This is a great for all hair types, whether fine, thick, or color-treated. We love the minimalist packaging almost as much as the fact that it contains so many healthy ingredients, like aloe juice powder, green tea extract, and meadowfoam seed oil (they strengthen, hydrate, and prevent environmental damage). If you have a dry scalp, it could be especially beneficial, since it helps reduce flaking.
