Cara Santana Reveals Fiancé Jesse Metcalfe Is a Super Involved Groom!
Plus, she reveals when the couple plans to get married.
Some men sit back and let their future bride plan their big day, but Jesse Metcalfe is not one of them. Metcalfe's fiancé Cara Santana opened up to People about their wedding day, revealing the duo plan to wed in September 2018, and she noted that the John Tucker Must Die star is a super involved groom!
"Every guy is like, 'No, No,' but Jesse has more opinions than whatever has the most opinions, so he'll definitely be inputting," Santana said. She also noted that he "has great taste, so I'm happy."
The couple will really dive deeper into planning next year. The two things the soon-to-be bride is most concerned about? Food and accommodations. "I want to make sure my guests enjoy," she said.
Metcalfe popped the question during Santana's birthday weekend in August 2016 after 10 years of dating. He proposed with a stunning 5.5-carat emerald shaped diamond ring while on a 50-foot sailboat in the middle of the Hudson River in New York. Metcalfe designed the engagement ring, which Santana said he "did a beautiful job" on.
When asked if anything has changed since the engagement, she said that everything is calm. "Now that we're engaged I feel this total sense of calmness," she said. "Like we'll get to the wedding. We've got the rest of our lives."
