Watercolor Windows
All you need is love -- and a sheer, pretty palette. Here, shades of citrus and pink illuminate centerpieces, escort cards, cocktails, and even a cake. It's a celebration that requires just your favorite hues and a few transparent materials to make a splash.
To create a contemporary stained-glass effect, cut tinted photography gels (available at photo-supply stores) to fit each bare pane. Press them against the glass -- they'll cling to the smooth surface. It's a stunning idea for a ceremony marker or backdrop for dinner.

Enchanting Escort Cards
Guide guests to their tables with a vibrant display of jewels. Have gem shapes cut from clear Lucite (I Love Lucite made these, 310-966-0740), then cover them with calligraphed photography gels cut to fit. Hang them with fishing line from a rod near your reception space -- the closer the better, so loved ones don't forget where to sit.

See-Through Stationery
This unique suite makes one thing clear: Your event will be positively jubilant. Have save-the-date, invitation, and response-card designs printed on frosted plastic (Wren Press has our design on file), then wrap them in coordinating vellum envelopes. At the ceremony, pass out packets of homemade vellum confetti for tossing.

A Blushing Bouquet
Balance the more angular facets of your decor with soft, organic notes: tree peonies and sweet peas, tied together with a flowing piece of diaphanous silk chiffon.

A Tinted Tablescape
See the world through rose-colored glasses. Here, sweet peas are arranged in simple glass containers and multifaceted vases filled with subtly dyed water (just add organic food coloring) to create a vivid centerpiece.

Perfect Place Setting
The theme continues at each seat, where gem-shaped pieces of photography gels are placed beneath glass chargers. Even the cranberry-pomegranate dessert gelee, topped with a slice of clementine, is clearly related.

Dazzling Drinks
Mixology meets gemology with these flutes of Prosecco garnished with pink, yellow, and fuchsia "diamond" ice cubes. They're made by freezing watered-down fruit juices (we used berry and peach) in Muji's jewel-shaped ice trays (muji.us). Drop one into each glass for added flavor, color, and fizz.

Translucent Tidings
As friends sign this guest book, they'll be creating a de facto piece of art. Snip vellum into angular pieces and set them out alongside white chalk for guests to write with. Also provide glue sticks so they can affix them to the pages. By evening's end, your tome will be layered with pastel shapes.

Jewels are attention-getters (just think about the compliments you've received on your ring). So what better way to mark off your bar or denote where you exchange vows than with prisms made from folded glassine paper?

A Cutting-Edge Cake
Here's delicious proof that less is more. This minimalist confection is covered with white fondant and topped with architectural clusters of hard-candy hexagons. The spare yet striking decoration also lends itself to other palettes or even a nautical-themed wedding with faux sea-glass shapes.
