I have cooked roasted corn several times. It is great--just make sure it's fully cooked. I fine it's best if cooked over low heat and wrapped in aluminum foil, after a salt water soak.

My huasband and I just devoured all 4 ears that we grilled along with grilled chicken breasts and grilled mushrooms & onions. Delicious way to keep the kitchen cool on a hot summer evening! Definitely worth the hassle of removing the silks and soaking!

Awesome! I can't wait to try it. I have only had grilled corn once and was not impressed with the texture. But, this looks like it will cook up well.

Microwave 3 ears at a time for 8 mins. Use hot pad , cut off hard end of ear and grasp the other end tightly and shake ear. The silk free ear will drop out. I used my food saver but you could use freezer zip lock bags to freeze. Let cool before sealing tightly. It is wonderful when eaten later. Don't overcook.

It's a bit time consuming to take off all the silk and pull the husks back up but this is the best corn on the cob you'll ever taste! I eat mine plain - no butter or spices.
