  • Preheat grill to high; lightly oil grates. Drain corn. Arrange ears on grill. Cover and cook, turning occasionally, using tongs, until husks are slightly charred and corn is tender, 15 to 20 minutes. Remove ears from grill. Holding bottom of hot ears with a towel, peel back husks and, with a knife, coat kernels with butter. Season corn with salt, pepper, and chili powder or paprika. Serve.

I have cooked roasted corn several times. It is great--just make sure it's fully cooked. I fine it's best if cooked over low heat and wrapped in aluminum foil, after a salt water soak.

My huasband and I just devoured all 4 ears that we grilled along with grilled chicken breasts and grilled mushrooms & onions. Delicious way to keep the kitchen cool on a hot summer evening! Definitely worth the hassle of removing the silks and soaking!

Awesome! I can't wait to try it. I have only had grilled corn once and was not impressed with the texture. But, this looks like it will cook up well.

It's a bit time consuming to take off all the silk and pull the husks back up but this is the best corn on the cob you'll ever taste! I eat mine plain - no butter or spices.
