Sweet Chili Sauce

1 cup

Pair this chili sauce with spring rolls or grilled meats.


  • ¾ cup white vinegar

  • ¾ cup sugar

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 2 teaspoons red-pepper flakes

  • ½ teaspoon coarse salt


  1. In a small pot, combine vinegar and sugar and bring to a boil. Reduce to a rapid simmer and cook until mixture is syrupy, about 6 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in garlic, red-pepper flakes, and salt. Let cool to room temperature before using.
