Using both ground cinnamon and cinnamon sticks intensifies the flavor. Serve with vanilla ice cream, if desired.

This was unbelievably easy. Served it with the passover flourless chocolate cake. Great pairing. Made it with Gala Apples which made it a little mellower.

I liked this easy method of baking apples. I preferred to cut out the cores before laying the apples cut side down in a cast iron pan with little extras added: raisins, walnuts.

I make whole baked apples....just use the corer to make the [filtered] all the way through...I fill the [filtered] with nuts (walnuts or pecans) and raisins. I drizzle molasses over the apple instead of sugar.

I core them and then fill the core with little red heart cinnamon candies which melt and add a delicious treat-like taste!

I make baked apples but leave them whole- punch a [filtered] all the way thru the center with a apple corer or small paring knife, taking out the seed
