This spooky curry makes a macabre centerpiece for a Halloween soiree. "Breast of chicken and chile's fury -- with fresh green veg make good Thai curry."

Directions

Cook's Notes

The curry paste can be made in advance, minimizing last-minute fuss, and the stew cooks quickly. Using a combination of regular coconut milk and light coconut milk reduces the calories.

This totally rocked! Definitely a new Halloween tradidition at our house - and I’ve been instructed to make it again come our next cold spell (here in Texas, “cold” is, of course, relative). Kudos to Martha and the Team!

I trial made this and was going to make for a Halloween dinner party. Glad I made it first. The flavor was not there, it looked good! Green curry paste does not have the same flavor as other curries. It lacked a savory flavor. I will not be serving this....

I made this for my husband and I last year, and it was a hit! I followed the advice from one of the reviewers, and made the curry paste a couple of days ahead. I was able to put together the dish in no time, and served it along with the squeamish rice. My husband and I where fighting over the leftovers the next day! Excellent recipe, and something that has become a favorite in our home.

I made this (with the squash rice and green beans) for Halloween and it was delicious. It was time consuming, but worth it - I'd make it again. I must have messed something up with the paste, I didn't get nearly a cup, I had enough for recipe and then maybe a few more tablespoons.

Definitely make the curry ahead of time, very time consuming. Make the curry the day before, it tastes better the next day. Made this and the other two dishes for my Halloween party and it turned out great!
