This recipe comes to us from Giovanna Huyke, host of the Puerto Rican television program "La Cocina de Giovanna." Finger bananas have a richer sweetness than larger bananas. A mango, or another fresh tropical fruit, may be used instead of bananas.




  • In a blender, combine lime juice, rum, bananas, sugar, and ice. Blend until smooth, pour into glasses, and garnish with a slice of banana.

Wicked cocktail! I found that I needed to add another banana to make it more flavorful and I subbed white rum with Bacardi Coconut Rum...which made this drink beyond awesome.
