Cook's Notes

To prevent toppings from sinking into the batter, sprinkle them on after brownies are baked. An extra 5 minutes in the oven melts the topping together for easy slicing.

    great tasting very easy recipe i microwaved the chocolate chips and butter, i did add organic extracts vanilla almond and a bit of coffee extract. the brownies turned out great!

    I use this decadent mixture to make amazing mini- brownie muffins. By pouring the batter in small muffin moulds, a lot of that crispy crust covers every bite. Yummm... and I also think popping these one-bite wonders in the toaster/microwave for a few seconds/minutes enhances the chocolaty goodness considerably.

    There's one part that leaves me baffled. In step number 2, do we put a saucepan with boiling water on a bowl and add the butter and chocolate inside?

    I made these today for a Super Bowl party and they were delicious! The brownies went faster than the chicken wings. I highly recommend this recipe. Everyone wanted more.
