Hi! I made this recipe but a little differently, this is what I did: I used 1 cup of frozen blueberries, same as the original. But I used vanilla yogurt instead of plain. Also, I used a frozen banana. Okay, so I absolutely love this smoothie! My blueberries were several years old. It was very thick for I froze the banana. So I had to use a spoon. But I love how thick it was. Very delicious! I will be making this smoothie daily. :)

I was wondering, I cant find plain yoghurt at my home but I did find blueberry yoghurt. Will that work?

My 5 yr old daughter and I made this today with frozen strawberries, vanilla yogurt and a banana. It was super easy to make and super delicious to share together. Thanks for the great recipe!

03/14/11 I made this today and would love to make this again. I added protein powder to it. Despite it being very good, the frozen blueberries broke the base to my Kitchen Aid blender! I now don't have a blender!! And, if I do buy a new blender, I'm not sure I would make it due to my now broken blender! -Kas

I keep a freezer bag full of frozen banana slices in the freezer ready to toss into the blender along with the blueberries and yogurt; this makes the smoothie even more cool and refreshing on a hot summer day.

This smoothie is even more refreshing if you use cut the ripe banana into one inch pieces, and store them in a ziploc freezer bag in the freezer until ready to use.

I made this recipe except used frozen strawberries instead of the blueberries. It was fantastic - so good my three year old would leave his snack of cheese and crackers to drink most of mine first.

you can also add skim millk. another thing you can add is protein powder. This is usually available in vanillla.
