I store my Beefeater Gin in the freezer then place martini glasses in there about an hour before cocktail time. A 1/2 teaspoon splash of vermouth in each chilled glass a couple of chilled olives then pour in the gin ... no shaker to clean and no ice to waterdown the martini..... Cheers!

I put my martini glasses in the freezer after I've rinsed the bowl with water, it makes slight shards of ice around the rim. And, I've discovered capers make a great garnish instead of, or in addition to, olives. YUM!

Definitely chill the glasses glasses before you make a Martini

I like to chill my martini glasses with ice while I'm making my martini. Also, before I add the gin or vodka to the shaker.. I like to shake the vermouth first, and then strain out the excess vermouth,
