I make this a couple times a month, (instead of feta) My husband finds certain feta to "tangy". I simply heat up a quart of buttermilk. (YOU DON'T NEED MORE MILK) This is so simple to make and you will get near a good cup full. heat it to 160 degrees. It will separate. Strain it out. I leave mine to hang all night. Next morning dump in a bowl, add some salt, and whatever, garlic parsley herbs........ throw it in a sealed container, Huge hit on salads, or pizza! and CHEAP. crumbly and dry!
I made this cheese, was very easy and delicious! Everyone should try this, you can make up your own flavors!! Awesome. It came out exactly like it did on the show.
