Made this tonight. What a delicious and simple recipe -- my sandwiches were warm, gooey, and ready to eat in under 10 minutes! I only had bulk chocolate (not bar form), so had to chop that up. If you're using chopped chocolate: be careful when flipping the sandwiches in the egg-milk mixture, and again when flipping the sandwiches in the frying pan.

It is super yummy. I added ground cinnamon, vanilla extract, and pumpkin spices to the eggs and milk. The filling was hazel butter. Then when it was done, I added honey and walnuts.

I made this dessert for a ladies luncheon. I followed the recipe except I added some sliced fresh strawberries I bought at my local farm. I simply placed the slices on top of the chocolate. This was superb. Everyone asked for the recipe. It is simple to make. Try it, I am sure you will love the ease in making and the final taste of this dessert.

some dried fruit like apricots or dates would be good in the mixture. MMM.
