We used boneless chicken breasts and boneless thighs. Spicy Italian sausage instead of sweet. Adde d parsnips, radishes and garlic as well. The whole family LOVED it.
My three teenage boys thought this was fantastic! Used small potatoes and replaced celery with asparagus. Served over rice and didn't make gravy. Boys don't like little bits of green so I couldn't add the fresh oregano; downside of cooking for young adults.
Will keep this recipe and make it again.
Made this for dinner and it was SUPER fast and very tasty! I can see many variations of this recipe!
Have made this recipe numerous times--absolutely delicious. I add more chicken and potatoes and cook in my Le Creuset on the stovetop. A nutritious, quick and balanced meal.
