Toss a bag of this homemade snack mix into your kids' backpacks -- they'll thank you.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups mixed dried fruit, such as cranberries, apricots, cherries, raisins, and apples

  • 1 cup pecans

  • ½ cup candy-coated chocolate

Directions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine dried fruit, pecans, and chocolate.

  2. Divide among 6 resealable plastic bags.

Variations
