how long does last in the fridge? Could it be frozen?

This sauce was very easy to make. It made a nice glaze for a spice cake that I made. I served it on the side and let everyone drizzle the sauce over their slice of cake themselves. I didn't have heavy cream so I used half and half. I don't know if it made a difference in consistency...it was a little thin, but still yummy!
