For all of you that are looking for the santa cookie cutter there is a set on ebay right now. That is your best bet to find them now they are hard to get. Good luck.

It would be soooooo nice not to have to click three times to get the recipe to print or to look at the ingredients in the recipe. What a waste of time!

to nbabich: you might have mixed the dough too much. stop mixing as soon as the flour looks mixed in; even a little undermixed Finish with your hands or spatula when you form the rounds before refrigerating.

The squirt bottles are available from Wilton. I bought a bucket of 18 (!!) bottles at Michaels for 12.99.

Does anyone know where to get those small squirt bottles that are being used for icing the cookies during this segment?

Just finished making the cookies. The decorations/icing looks great, however I'm not too thrilled about the cookie itself. I'm new to baking. The cookie was tough. Any suggestions? My cat knocked one cookie on the floor and it broke into pieces.

Folks, the santa cutters are definately at macy's, but they have been hard to find. I live in Chicago, and the store at old orchard in skokie had only noah's arch and alphabet cutters. I do, however, work downtown, so I went to the state street store today and found a bunch of the santa cutters. They are in a set of 6, sticker price is 9.99 but they are on sale at 50% off. I only paid a little over $5 with tax. My advice for the person who lives far----try using the store locator on their website to find the number for the state street store and see if they will ship a set to you. The sku # is 2308-1463 "holiday cookie cutter set". If not, shoot me an email at ktdolphin74@gmail.com and I'll see how I can help u.

These cookies are so cute that i felt bad for eating them. I couldn't find the cookie cutter anywhere, so I had to make do, and just trace the paper template onto the dough with a knife. it's easy but you have to make sure the dough is COLD or else it looks like crap
