    This is a summer delight. Every time I've made it I have rave reviews and recipe requests. Tinker with it, as Martha suggests, by using different fruits and herbs, just keep the basic ratios similar. You won't be sorry!

    This is really yummy. I made it with Mango, nectarines, pineapple, raspberries and basil, and I will definitely make again. Next time, though, I will double the wine and the liqueur....there is more than enough fruit to handle it.

    When I found this recipe I thought that the ginger and basil idea was very different and definitely wanted to try it out. I am making sangria for my sister's wedding and tested out this sangria recipe and a different sangria recipe at her bridal shower. This was was the winner at the bridal shower! I used the pinot grigio, basil (rather than mint), pineapple, mango, and kiwi. One thing I did do differently is add a can of gingerale to cut back on that strong alcohol taste. 4 STARS!!!
