This enduring classic conjures imagesof afternoon tennis matches anddrinks on the lawn. Often made withlemonade alone, our cocktail includesginger ale to mellow the flavorof Pimm's -- a fruity, spicy gin-basedliqueur -- and make it effervescent.

I served this to my friends at a summer BBQ. Some had tried Pimm's before and some hadn't, but everyone loved it! It was the favorite of the night. I didn't try any variations, but I'm sure they would be good too.

I love Pimm's!! I have never put gin & lemonade in it till today & it was very nice. It definitely dilutes the Pimm's flavor so I will continue to serve it just with ginger ale and a squeeze of lemon most of the time. If you haven't tried Pimm's, this is certainly a good recipe to start with.
