Those who want to dip their fangs into blood-red drinks will enjoy these cups of hot chocolate tinged with food coloring. A combination of bittersweet and semisweet chocolate gives each cup an indulgent flavor.

Ingredients

  • 5 ounces semisweet chocolate, finely chopped

  • 5 ounces bittersweet chocolate, finely chopped

  • 4 cups whole milk

  • ¼ cup sugar

  • 2 teaspoons red gel-paste food coloring

  • Marshmallow Bones, for serving

Directions

  1. Place chocolate in a medium heat-proof bowl. Bring milk and sugar to a simmer in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves, about 7 minutes.
