  • Place chicken, apple, and grapes in a medium bowl; toss to combine. Let stand for 3 minutes.

  • Add onion, Nayonnaise, cayenne, and salt to chicken mixture and toss until well combined. Cover and refrigerate until chilled before serving. Serve on whole wheat bread, if desired.

This recipe is very similar to one I make, only I add about 1/4 cup of currants in place of the grapes. A little dried or fresh thyme adds extra flavor also. Yum.

Dr. Sanders-Butler's book is titled n n n n n n Healthy Kids, Smart Kids". Runs around $15, but you can probably get at Amazon for much less

This was one of my favorite recipes. Since I am disabled with Emphysma it is hard for me to prepare anything. This was easy and I had a little help. These ingredients also go great with tuna. Thank you very much as I had forgotten about it!

Yvonne, aka Sugarwoman to her relatives, made this salad once when I was visiting her in GA. I was very apprehensive about trying it at first, but once I did, I could not get enough of it.
