    I have made this pie 2x now and I cannot get the filliing to firm. It tastes wonderful but is served as custard with crust cookies vs actual slices of pie. Any suggestions? I have followed the recipe to the T...

    I used Captian Morgan rum instead. It was quite tasty. I did have a problem w/the eggs almost scrambling. Didn't make the whipped topping. Just put nutmeg on top.
