Warm Vanilla Cider

Made this using a few alternatives. Probably lots of variations you could try depending on your preferred drink. Mine ended up being more of a vanilla toddy. Used Scotch whisky instead of Bourbon. Carton of Apple juice. I used vanilla paste from a jar. The vanilla flavour was quite strong to me. I did notice that it was less so once the alcohol was added....Scotch has a strong flavour though. All in all a good recipe. Nice to try! I think I'll try variations on it. Great without alcohol too!

I was expecting a stronger vanilla flavor, but this just didn't deliver. Better results came from simmering apple cider and adding vanilla extract. Did not want to make again, but if I did, I would simmer for longer to see if I could get a deeper flavor.
