With a new season right around the corner, and Easter not too far behind, why not spring a new stationery collection and send someone you love a cheerful note? After all, nothing says, "Let's get together soon for alfresco activities!" or "Come over for Easter brunch?" better than a personalized penned letter. And if you need some craft inspiration, you've come to the right place.

Start out with this cute paper-punched Easter bunny card. First, layer up your favorite spring colors or play around with patterns, then embellish the front with a bit of seam binding and tiny bunnies punched out from a craft punch tool. Or, send a card that really "pops" with our floral cards. All you need is our handy template, a craft knife, some double-sided tape, and a stack of colored paper in your favorite spring palette. You can even choose to further embellish the flower cut-outs with any additional décor like small gems, sequins, or a touch of glitter. Looking for more floral card ideas? This adorable daisy-chain cutout card features a dainty ring of the tiny paper blooms, glued onto the colored card stock of your choice. Or, perhaps you'll love the look of our classic pressed pansy cards. With their flat blossoms, pansies and their viola cousins make for easy pressing and drying.

However you decided to craft your spring and Easter cards, we're sure these ideas will inspire you to create something extra special to send to the friends and family in your life.

Easter Bunny Card

rcd10477bbunegg_bunnycard.jpg

You need two main materials for this delightful Easter card: a bunny punch and patterned paper. To make it, cut and fold a 5 by 7 inch card out of yellow card stock. Adhere a rectangle of crosshatch patterned paper to the front of card. Cut a piece of seam binding about 6 1/2 inches long and notch the two ends. Adhere to front center of the card. Punch three bunnies from blue polka dot paper, and cut a square around each punched area. Overlay and affix onto slightly larger cut squares of yellow card stock. Arrange and adhere three bunny squares across seam binding.

Hand-Stamped Spring Cards

A green ink pad and rubber stamps can add a flight of fancy to your Easter card. To make a set, place stationery on a large piece of scrap paper. Stamp grass motif across base of stationery, overlapping imprints if necessary. Add flower and butterfly accents. To create envelope seals, stamp rows of perforated stamp paper. Punch out designs, and adhere to envelope with glue stick.
