Button Cuff Links

Use new or vintage buttons to craft cuff links for the groom or ushers to wear at the wedding. Begin with four shank-backed buttons -- borrowed, perhaps, from a grandfather's wedding coat or grandmother's gloves. You'll also need two eye pins per set. Clip the looped end off an eye pin using wire cutters. Bend one end into a hook wide enough to slip into a button's shank and long enough to be folded down into a loop without pinching the button. Bend opposite end in opposite direction to form S shape; cut away excess. Slip buttons onto hooks, and squeeze wire ends down to close. Repeat with other two buttons to make second cuff link.
