Guests will cheer you on when you zip away after the ceremony in a car covered with pom-pom garlands. These decorations are easy to make with tissue paper and twine, and they stay on the car with suction cups, which won't damage the auto's exterior.
Four 6-by-9 1/2-inch pieces of tissue paper
To create the pom-poms, use a pom-pom-making tool or craft them yourself. For one pom-pom, you'll need four 6-by-9-1/2-inch pieces of tissue paper. (If you'd like a multihued pom-pom, use patterned paper or sheets in different colors.)
Stack paper; fold accordion-style, making 3/4-inch folds. Snip ends into points; tie middle with twine.
To make a garland, tie the flat pom-poms together with colorful twine. Tie on suction cups where needed and affix cups to car. When you're ready to decorate the car, fluff out each pom-pom.
