Asparagus Ribbons

Pasta with asparagus is a delicious spring dish, but diners usually have to choose which -- noodle or vegetable -- will get onto the fork in any given bite. Make asparagus more fettuccine-friendly by blanching the spears, and using a vegetable peeler to shave all but the tips into strips. Then enjoy it all twirled together.
