Prepare now, and next spring you can plant all the poppies you like -- without buying seeds. After your poppies' petals have fallen, and before the seeds have begun to disperse, snip four or five pods. Put them in a labeled, unsealed plastic bag, and store in a cool, dry place until you're ready to sow.

Thanx for the advice about when and how to store the Poppy seeds once the petals fall off the flower.
