If you've ever experienced the frustration of a drawer that won't open -- or one that opens only with a terrible yank that sends contents flying -- then you'll love this simple little trick. A drawer can stick for any number of reasons: Age, normal wear and tear, and humidity all contribute. Whatever the reason, the solution is easy. Simply remove the drawer, and rub a light-colored wax candle on the underside and along the rails. The slippery wax will eliminate resistance, making your stubborn drawer as good as new.
