If you want to study herbs from the comfort of your home, the Herbal Studies Program through Clayton College might be the perfect solution. Classes are self-paced and available either online or via regular mail. The three-tier program covers everything from general herbal first aid to herbal toxicology. Level I provides a Family Herbalist certificate, Level II a Consulting Herbalist certificate, and Level III a Master Herbalist certificate.
