Smooth Butter

Take a cue from restaurants by offering butter for muffins and rolls in a ramekin. A 4-ounce container will hold a single stick. Soften the butter for spreading by leaving it out at room temperature (or microwaving on low for 10 seconds). Serve it in the ramekin, swirling the top with the back of the spoon.
