If December is characterized by buzzing get-togethers, cheery Champagne toasts, and lots of gift-giving, January offers the chance to come in from the cold, get cozy at home, and give back to yourself. Sitting down to a warm bowl of macaroni and cheese, a fragrant helping of chicken potpie, or a familiar cup of chocolate pudding is a tasty way to do just that. Alas, traditional comfort foods don't always jibe with the urge many of us have after New Year's to seek out more healthful meals.
