Making a Coffee Table with Kevin

Source: Martha Stewart Living Television

It can be difficult to find the right table for a specific space, especially if you've already envisioned the perfect piece. Constructing a table out of premade parts enables you to create a piece that's both suitable for the space and faithful to your original vision. Martha Stewart Living associate style editor Kevin Walker makes Martha a functional and attractive coffee table using pre-drilled maple aprons, corner braces, and table legs, as well as a custom tabletop of lead-coated copper wrapped on a plywood base. The table legs have the same taper as Martha's new sofa, and the table base is stained to match the room's decor.
