The plants remain in their plastic containers inside the pumpkins, so no repotting is required.
Hole cutter or drill
Potted autumnal flowers (such as chrysanthemums)
Cut a hole in the pumpkins' tops, and scoop out the flesh. Using a hole cutter or a drill, cut openings in the bottom for drainage.
Fill pumpkins with potted flowers and display in a sunny spot.
