Storing Mushrooms

Choose mushrooms that are firm and unblemished, and see how easy it is to keep them fresh and flavorful.

What To Do
Place loose mushrooms, unwashed and uncut, in a paper bag; fold over the top, and place on a refrigerator shelf (not in the crisper). Refrigerate pre-packaged mushrooms in their original container and wrapping until opened. Mushrooms taste best when used within a few days of purchase.
