Martha's Chef Secret: Citric Acid

Guacamole can turn brown when left out, but by sprinkling it with a half-teaspoon of citric acid, it will keep its color brighter and longer. Keep in mind that citrus acid works wonders for all fruits and veggies that have a tendency to discolor.
