To prep a batch for friends, add the ingredients to a jar the night before and refrigerate. When cocktail hour arrives you can simply add ice to the jar, stir, and strain the ruby red elixir into glasses. Ingredients 1 ½ ounces blanco tequila 1 ounce ginger liqueur, such as Domaine de Canton 2 ounces chilled unsweetened pure tart-cherry juice (we like Ocean Spray) ½ ounce fresh lime juice Luxardo cherry and a fresh ginger slice, for garnish Directions Fill a cocktail shaker halfway with ice. Add tequila, ginger liqueur, cherry juice, and lime juice. Gently stir about 10 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe glass; garnish with cherry and ginger slice. Serve immediately. Cook's Notes For a clear ruby color, stir (don't shake) this drink.Use unsweetened 100 percent tart cherry juice in this Margarita for true fruit flavor. Look for it near other shelf-stable juices or in the refrigerated-drink aisle. Rate it Print
