steps
-
Measure and cut out a 12-by-11-inch fabric rectangle and a 3-by-16-inch fabric strip; set strip aside. Fold rectangle in half widthwise, right sides facing in; press seam with iron. Open fabric back up; apply fusible web all the way along back of top (12-inch) edge. Fold edge down over back; press with iron to adhere. Let cool slightly to set.
-
Fold fabric back in half width-wise, right sides facing in. Apply fusible web all along side and bottom seams; press with iron to adhere. Let cool slightly to set, then turn bag right-side out.
-
To make tie, fold fabric strip in half lengthwise, and apply fusible web along one inner side; press with iron to adhere. Fold again, so unfinished edge is near center of back side; apply fusible web all along one inner side, and press to adhere. Let cool slightly to set. Fill bag as desired; secure with tie.
